German Historian Thomas Weber: The Vast Majority Of Germans Supported The War To The End

Hoover Institution

23-06-05 17:56

German historian Thomas Weber stated in an interview that the majority of Germans backed the war until the bitter end and expressed regret over the fact that Germans have not considered Poland and how the war affected the country. Weber noted that Germany has tried to forget World War II, which has resulted in many Poles feeling that Germany has not expressed enough remorse over the atrocities committed during the war.

California Business Departures Rising, Study Says

Hoover Institution

23-06-05 17:42

A new study has shown that businesses are leaving California at an increasing rate, with an average of 75 businesses per week relocating out of the state in 2021. The findings echo those of a previous study by the Hoover Institution, which stated that 352 businesses, including 11 Fortune 1,000 companies, moved their headquarters out of California between 2018 and 2021. Reasons cited for the departures include high taxes, strict regulations, soaring property costs and a difficult business environment.
