BDMT, an AI-powered social media, information aggregation and analysis company, is seeking a team of talented and motivated editorial Interns to join our newsroom. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our newsroom functions and contributing to the production of high-quality content.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the research and production of news articles, audio and video products, and analysis pieces

Support editors and reporters with data gathering and fact-checking
Translate articles from Chinese to English and vice versa -
Contribute to the development of ideas and coverage plans
Participate in editorial meetings and pitch story ideas -
Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:

Fluency in both Chinese and English

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Background in journalism, foreign policy, or Chinese studies is preferred

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Working knowledge with OpenAI chatGPT interface

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Passion for news, current events, and global politics
This is a full-time, unpaid internship with flexible hours. We sponsor CPT applications for international students.
